Fun Day A Big Success!

Fourth Annual Fun Day & Yard Sale

Please plan to join us Saturday, May 6th, from 8am to 2pm for a day of food, fun and getting to know your neighbors.

As this event gets bigger and better each year we need volunteers. To help with the moonwalk and games call Russ at 368-4821. Russ also needs wood ASAP to make some games and signs, please call if you can help.

We still are looking for donations to raffle off. Please call Mary Darling if you can provide an item to put in the raffle. Raffle tickets will be $1 each. You do not need to be present to win. Raffle items we have include certificates for a hair salon, a nail salon and restaurants, dance and tennis lessons, donations from Ace Hardware, local supermarkets & many more. Enter the bicycle raffle for a chance to win one of five bicycles. You must be present to win a bicycle.

The police department will distribute clubs to the owners of the top 5 stolen models of cars.

Plan on bringing your dog from 10:00 to 11:00 for the dog parade, fun, contests and prizes. Call Jessica at 864-1214 for more information.

Neighborhood Cleanup

The City’s Sanitation Department is scheduled to come into our neighborhood on Monday, November 27th for the annual pickup. They will take old furniture, appliances, carpeting, yard waste, tree limbs up to 4 feet long and any other unwanted items except for hazardous waste products, junk cars or building materials.

Budget

The association has expenses of printing the newsletters (which is $70 for one page), post office box rental, corporation fees and daily expenses of running our neighborhood. Our only sources of income are Fun Day profits, membership dues and donations. Please send any donations to BHNA PO Box 3057, St. Petersburg, FL 33731

Membership

Membership is open to all interested residents, homeowners and/or tenants living within the Bayou Highlands Neighborhood and is only $10 per person, per year. Please send any membership checks to Bayou Highlands, PO Box 3057, St. Petersburg, FL 33731.
